In the sixties when I was a child, it was the night of Halloween that I loved the most. When darkness had fallen, we would lather windows with soap, and ring peoples' doorbells, commonly in our Halloween costumes.

Sometimes it was neighbors we liked but alot more most likely we would pick those we did not warm to considering that we knew they would react even more angrily and that was the most effective part.
